Unit Description: As a Non-Invasive Cardiology Nurse, you will perform and support a variety of cardiac diagnostic procedures, including stress testing and assisting physicians with moderate sedation during transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs). You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiac technicians, cardiology fellows, sonographers, and physicians to ensure patients receive the most appropriate diagnostic testing and care. This position serves as an essential member of the nursing team, providing direct patient care, education, procedural preparation, and support within the Non-Invasive Cardiology department. May assume charge responsibilities based on operational needs.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience with critical care, ED, or cardiovascular background. Must be able to read EKG tele strip’s as baseline. IV skills and ACLS preferred.
On-Call: Not Required.
