JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Speech-Language Pathology & Pediatric Rehabilitation Services provides operational, clinical, and professional leadership for Speech-Language Pathology and Pediatric Rehabilitation services delivered across inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and specialty practice settings within the academic medical center.
The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, patient- and family-centered rehabilitation services that support communication, cognition, swallowing, developmental therapies, and specialized pediatric rehabilitation. This role provides leadership for clinical practice, workforce development, quality improvement, operational performance, and interdisciplinary collaboration across the continuum of care.
Working closely with physician leaders, nursing, rehabilitation professionals, ambulatory practice managers, schools, and community agencies, the Supervisor develops innovative care models that improve patient access, clinical outcomes, and care coordination while supporting the academic, educational, and research missions of the organization.

EDUCATION
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related rehabilitation discipline required.
Current Vermont professional license in Speech-Language Pathology or another rehabilitation discipline, as appropriate.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required if the incumbent is an SLP.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum of five years of progressively responsible clinical experience, including pediatric and/or specialized rehabilitation services.
Minimum of two years of supervisory, lead therapist, or program leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement, and program development.
