Patient Care Services Temporary Supervisor - Assisted Living

$38.04–$63.93/hour, based on experience | Temporary Position

The Alice Center Assisted Living Program is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical and operational leadership. This is an opportunity for an experienced nurse seeking a temporary leadership role with a guaranteed 40 hours per pay period.

Current Schedule: The position is scheduled for approximately 4 hours per weekday afternoon, Monday through Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., for a guaranteed 40 hours per pay period. No weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support the delivery of safe, person-centered nursing care.
• Ensure residents are assessed and care plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nursing staff.
• Monitor staffing, assignments, resident care, documentation, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Ensure compliance with New York State regulations, nursing standards, and organizational policies.
• Address clinical concerns and changes in resident condition using sound nursing judgment.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, quality improvement, and excellent resident outcomes.
• Serve as a nursing leadership resource when senior leadership is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Current New York State RN license in good standing.
• Strong clinical nursing experience; supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Assisted living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, assessment, and critical-thinking skills.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
