Sign-On Bonus: External candidates may be eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. The bonus is paid in two installments: $5,000 in your first paycheck and $5,000 after six months of employment. A one-year employment commitment is required. Relocation assistance may also be available for qualified candidates who are relocating, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Position Summary: The Nurse Manager facilitates the realization of the organization's mission, strategic plan, and values at the point of care. Plans for, leads, coordinates and facilitates the provision of quality care and service for a defined population of patients and facilitates the procurement of appropriate supplies/equipment and provides for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver nursing care. The Nurse Manager demonstrates excellence in problem solving, leadership, communication, fiscal responsibility and teamwork. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, consultation and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary teaching environment. She/He collaborates with administrators and other members of the health care team to design, evaluate and improve patient care systems and processes.

Education Requirements:

  • Current Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained in accordance with the terms of the offer letter

  • Master's degree preferred, ideally in Nursing Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required

  • Experience as a Nurse Manager in an Interventional Cardiology setting

  • Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, staff development, quality improvement, and operational management within a complex healthcare environment preferred
