EEG Technician - Under the direction of the Director of the Cardiology and Respiratory Department and the Cardiology Operations Supervisor, plans, organizes and coordinates activities of the EEG Program. Functions within the scope of practice of the Cardiology Department and the hospital policies and procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the hospital.

Pulmonary Function Technologist (PFT) - The Pulmonary Function Technologist (PFT) independently provides all modes of pulmonary function testing as ordered by a physician, assists with bronchoscopies, interventional bronchoscopies and other invasive procedures, and monitors and recovers patients after treatment.

Registered Respiratory Therapist - Under the direction of the Director of Cardiology and Respiratory Services, the Registered Respiratory Therapist provides services to inpatients and outpatients as directed by the medical staff at Central Vermont Medical Center. Functions within the scope of practice of the Respiratory Therapy Department and the hospital policies and procedures. Serves as a resource to nursing staff and physicians in the care of patients with respiratory problems. Participates in quality management activities hospital wide and with the Respiratory Therapy Department. Assumes leadership responsibilities at the request of the Director of Respiratory Therapy.
